Ok, so here's your twin quiz of the day:

3 ...hop down the stairs two feet at a time

6 ...drive away in the car
7 ...want to have pretty barrettes in their hair
8 ...be obsessed with rainbows right now

10 ...have a genuine evil laugh
11 ...refuse to give Bryson a kiss
12 ...drop a big rock on their toe
13 ...ask for one more book
And the answers are
- Kadence! We only hear this 50 times a day.
- Actually, Kadence. You would think the death-defying Austin would be the one, but Kadence will jump right off. Austin doesn't want to jump until he is touching me in some way and knows he can grab me. Maybe he does have some self preservation in there somewhere. Either that or he really just doesn't trust me.
- Definitely Austin. Kadence is hands on the rails, very methodically down the stairs. Austin scares me to death by hopping one by one down the last few.
- Actually both of them. They love swimming.
- Kadence. Once in a while she will, but it is definitely not her idea of a good time.
- Austin. Everytime he's loose in the car he hops into the driver's seat and gives me this look like, "hand me the keys, I'm ready to go".
- Austin. Loves the pretty things in his hair.
- Austin. Ever since he saw a rainbow at Grandma Gibson's party in Sept he always wants me to draw them for him (which is fortunate because rainbows are part of my limited artistic ability). He can draw them, now, for himself and does so everyday. The first shape he learned to draw was a circle, the second is a rainbow. Big rainbows, little rainbows.
- Kadence. Loves to have her hands traced. I've also traced her feet a couple of times and she thought it was so funny. We got out the sidewalk chalk a few days ago (since the rain will wash it off within 24 hours with the 4-week-long rain storm we've had) and Dad started tracing whole babies on the ground. They thought that was fantastic. We even traced Dad. The driveway looked like a terrible crime scene by the time we were done.
- Kadence. From the time she was born she has made odd sounds. From the time she started laughing she has had this really awesome evil laugh. You have to hear it to believe it.
- Both, but Kadence is definitely the one who is more sofisticated at teasing. When Bryson says, "give me a kiss" Kadence acts like she didn't hear what he said and keeps doing whatever she was doing completely ignoring his existence. Austin will say no and run away hoping Bryson chases him. Kadence has always been a tease that way. As she was learning to talk, she refused to say McKay's name to him. She would say it when he wasn't there but if we asked her to say it in his presence she would act indifferent to the request or look at him with a sly smile. At one year old! All McKay wanted was to hear his little sister say his name. We decided to trick her one day in the car. She was in her car seat in the middle row of the van and McKay was in the back seat. We didn't think she knew he was in the car because he was frequently driving another car. So we started asking her to say people's names. "Mom", "Daddy", "Austin", "Bryson", and when we asked her to say McKay, she lifted up her arm and pointed over her car seat to the back seat where he was sitting. That was McKay back there and she was not going to say it. We about died laughing. Seriously? That's some fairly sofisticated teasing.
- Austin. Done it. His big toe nail on his left foot has almost grown back. He loves rocks. Big rocks, little rocks, rocks, rocks, rocks!
- Definitely both. They love to be read to and can now entertain themselves with books for quite a long time. They're definitely Gibsons.
